Team Rocket Takes Over Official Pokemon GO Youtube And Twitter Accounts

Following their introduction to the game, Team Rocket appears to have taken over some Pokemon GO‘s official social media accounts, seemingly teasing something big happening on July 28th.

Firstly, the official Pokemon GO Twitter account has had its profile picture changed to a black screen, and shared a series of cryptic posts featuring darkened images and the letter “R”. Upon close inspection, keen-eyed viewers may notice some mysterious silhouettes in the images, as well as the numbers “7/28”.

Secondly, a livestream countdown to July 28th has gone live on the Pokemon GO Youtube channel. The stream is simply titled “R” and shows off various Team Rocket grunts making funny faces as the countdown ticks forward.
