In a strange move, a patch intended to improve the performance of “The Sexy Brutale” on Switch has been removed.

We are really sorry for what happened with the patch of #TheSexyBrutale Switch version.The patch that has been made available is not solving the resolution as we intended.This patch has now been pulled down and we are looking at submitting a new one that improves the game.

According to reports across the Internet, the patch lowered the game’s resolution, but did not seem to improve performance in other areas. The Tweet promises that the developers are working on a new patch to improve the game. It’s not clear why Tequila Works released a patch that made the game worse, but at least it has been pulled down now. We’re hoping a real fix will be in soon.
