The Leaked Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Set Appears To Be Real

This morning, Nintendo announced the Nintendo Switch Pikachu & Eevee Edition, launching on November 16, 2018.

Several weeks ago, we wrote a report on a mysterious Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros. Ultimate set leaked in France at supermarket chain Carrefour. After the announcement of today’s Pikachu & Eevee Edition, it has come to our attention that the bundle may after all be 100% real.

First, please take a look at the section inside the red circle. You’ll find a red bar with some text beside it – that contains a notice for the Nintendo Switch Online service. Keep in mind this notice has never appeared on any existing Nintendo Switch SKUs.

Now, taking a look at today’s Nintendo Switch Pikachu & Eevee Edition packshot, we can see that the Nintendo Switch Online notice is exactly at the same position as the picture above.

We can now say with 100% certainty that the Nintendo Switch Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Set leaked in France weeks ago is the real deal, and are expecting Nintendo to formally announce it during the next Nintendo Direct.
