The Legend Of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Surpasses 200,000 Copies Sold In Japan

Famitsu has published the weekly Japanese sales charts for September 30 to October 6, 2019.

Dragon Quest XI S, which launched the week prior, remained No. 1 for the second week in the row. The game sold 57,667 copies, moving its lifetime total to 368,871. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening continues to sell strongly in Japan. It’s third in the sales charts with lifetime sales reaching 203,580 units.

Now time for the hardware sales. Nintendo Switch moved 50,469 units, while Nintendo Switch Lite sold 38,668 units. This is a drop from the week prior as the 10% sales tax kicked in. Nintendo Switch family of systems lifetime sales have hit 9.5 million in Japan.
