Last year, The Pokemon Company announced a new Detective Pikachu game is in development for Nintendo Switch.

It seems that we may be hearing about this game in the very near future. Nintendo has added two private videos to the Detective Pikachu playlist on Youtube, so an announcement could be on the way:
