The Pokeland App Has Died A Quiet Death

On May 31, 2017, The Pokemon Company announced a new smartphone game called Pokeland. An Alpha test for Pokeland was conducted for Android users living in Japan on October 16.

Since then, The Pokemon Company announced plans to conduct a similar test for iOS users in the first half of 2018. As you know, half the year is gone and there has been zero word on Pokeland.

Some Japanese commentators speculate Pokeland could have transformed into Pokemon Quest, but no one really knows for sure until The Pokemon Company confirms the project is officially dead.
