Over the past few days, The Pokemon Company has been running a special Pokemon Day Popularity poll, where fans could vote on their favorite Pokemon on Twitter using a Japanese hashtag #にきめた.

Since then, The Pokemon Company has published the results of the poll online, revealing the Top 30 Pokemon as voted by the community using the hashtag. After over 1 million votes, Dedenne was voted the most popular Pokemon followed by Cincinno and Sableye.

The list of Top 10 most voted Pokemon overall can be found below. It should be noted however that the poll was primarily conducted in Japanese, suggesting that the votes likely reflect Japanese fan opinion rather than worldwide.
