Unfortunate news for those of you waiting for the Nintendo Switch physical edition of The Town of Light – the physical release has been canceled.

The official Twitter account for the game has announced that the physical release has been canceled, probably due to issues with development. The game might be getting a digital-only release on Nintendo Switch in the future.

… If you have placed a pre-order please contact your retailer. We’re very excited to reveal what we’re working on next, and are grateful to have Wired support us. We will also continue developing The Town of Light, and will investigate a digital only release in the future.
