A very famous Pokemon trainer stopped by this year’s New York Comic Con. But you may have missed her hiding in plain sight.

Sarah Natochenny, the English voice actor behind Ash Ketchum from the Pokemon anime, made it her goal to take a picture with every Ash Ketchum cosplayer she could find at the 2021 New York Comic Con this past weekend.

This comes just a month after the actor celebrated their 15th anniversary portraying the protagonist of the Pokemon anime on his journey to become a Pokemon Master.

And just last week, the U.S. version of Pokemon’s latest movie, Pokémon: Secrets of the Jungle! released on Netflix so it’s been an eventful time for this actor.

My first episode of TV aired 15 years ago today. Pokémon has been with me all my life, and will be a huge part of my life forever. Thank you all for being fans. What a gift.
