There Are No Nintendo 3DS Games Launching In May

Nintendo’s official Japanese website, which has a section for upcoming releases, is painting a grim outlook for Nintendo 3DS.

As of April 2, there are currently zero (yes, 0) Nintendo 3DS games launching in May 2018. That includes both retail and downloadable software titles. For comparison’s sake, 9 Nintendo 3DS games released in Japan last month, two are coming in April, and at least Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido is heading to 3DS in June (which is also coming to Switch).

Don’t forget, we still have Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr’s Journey coming in 2019.

What do you think? Is the 3DS on its way out earlier than we all thought? Let us know in the comments!
