Today Marks One Year Since The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2 Was Announced

Been waiting to learn more about the official sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild? Well, congratulations on making it this far without falling apart!

Indeed, today marks one year since last year’s E3 Nintendo Direct – where Nintendo first revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 was in the works. Since then, we’ve not actually received much new info about the game itself, aside from the initial announcement trailer which showed Zelda and Link discovering a grisly secret below Hyrule castle…

To date, all we know from various interviews with producer Eiji Aunoma is the game would be a little ‘darker’ than Majora’s Mask, and that development on the sequel partly started because there were too many DLC ideas for the first game. There are also heavy hints that Xenoblade developers Monolith Soft are returning to help with the sequel.

For now, however, all we have is speculations, hopes and dreams – at least until Nintendo finally reveals even more info about the game. Hopefully we won’t have to wait another year until we finally hear something new.

In the meantime, what are you hopes for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild 2? Feel free to share them with us below!
