Today, we have received a better idea at what’s causing the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore shortages in various parts of the world.
According to French Nintendo account Nintend’Alerts, Nintendo of Europe sent out 10,000 copies of Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore to retailers at launch. 10,000 is a very conservative number for a first party title in France, especially when you compare it with other games launched in 2019.
The low shipment figure has caused shortages in France one day after the game’s launch – only 3 out of 9 major online retailers still have the game in stock. This is similar to what we have reported in Japan.
