Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have placed a rather unique advertisement promoting Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee at Ueno station, Japan.
Instead of promoting the game’s story or features, the advertisement at Ueno station shows an elderly Japanese man wandering in the fields with his smartphone. Based on his body language we assume he is playing Pokemon GO.
The photo is accompanied with the following text:
“Can you please take care of the Pokemon Jiichan (Grandpa) gathered in the fields?”
This is in reference to the ability to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon GO to Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee.
