In an interview with The Pokemon Company CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara, the chief executive revealed future plans for the hit smartphone game, Pokemon GO.

According to Ishihara, The Pokemon Company and Niantic have only achieved 10 percent of what they wanted to do with Pokemon GO. Moving forward, both companies would like to add fundamental features such as “trading, peer-to-peer battles, and other possibilities”.

Ishihara also pointed out solving other issues, such as people staring at their smartphones while playing Pokemon GO (which may be dangerous to the players themselves and those around them), and balancing where Pokemon appear depending on the environment and region.

The CEO also believed that with new features added every now and then to Pokemon GO, people will “keep coming back for more”.
