Undertale Live Concert To Be Held On January 11th 2020

It is no secret that one of the most memorable parts of the game Undertale is the incredible soundtrack composed by creator Toby Fox.

As a testament to popularity of the game and its soundtrack, an Undertale Live Concert has been announced for January 11th 2020. The live is set to be an “interactive experience” where audience members can influence the flow of the concert through a series of choices, similar to the game it is based on:

One of the most acclaimed video games of the past decade, solo developer Toby Fox’s indie hit Undertale has enchanted a fanbase of nearly 4 million players worldwide through its heartwarming story, quirky characters, and Fox’s own trailblazing musical score. Undertale introduces players to a secret world of monsters who were sealed underground long ago with an ingenious twist in perspective: players can resolve each encounter nonviolently, inviting us to empathize with those most different from ourselves.
Featuring original arrangements by music director Eric Roth, Undertale LIVE is an interactive musical adventure with in-game visuals and audience choice driving the action along a branching narrative.

AWR Music Productions has also produced the internationally acclaimed Distant Worlds: Music from FINAL FANTASY and A New World: intimate music from FINAL FANTASY. Fifth House Ensemble’s previous video game collaboration, Journey LIVE, was lauded by VICE as “combining the best parts of video games and musical theater.”

The news of the concert was also shared by Toby Fox himself on Twitter, where he had this to say:

More information about the concert can be found on its official website here. Although tickets for the world premier appear to be sold out, the site promises more details about new shows will be announced soon.
