Level-5 has revealed a reboot for the Yo-Kai Watch anime is heading to Japan in two months time.

The reboot is called “Yo-Kai Watch!” and will debut in Japan on April 5, 2019 6:25pm. In the reboot, Nate returns as the protagonist of the anime, and he’s using a new type of Yo-Kai Watch called Yo-kai Watch Elder. The reboot will return the series back to its roots with Yo-Kai related gags, and all Yo-Kai will appear in their regular designs rather than those from Shadowside.
