Following past Pokemori Pokemon campaigns at gyudon (beef bowl) chain Yoshinoya in Japan, Yoshinoya has announced a brand new campaign to celebrate the upcoming release of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl!

This new campaign will kick off in Japan on 27 August 2021 and end on 26 September 2021 – with three waves planned. The first wave will feature the Pokemon shown above (namely, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup, Riolu, or Eevee).

All Pokemori gyudon will be served in Poke Ball bowls. While this campaign will not feature a Pokemon design at the bottom of each bowl, customers will receive a figure of one of the featured Pokemon as a gift.

In addition to this, Yoshinoya will hold sweepstakes from August 27 to November 24, 2021 – where customers can actually win some of the Poke Ball Bowls for themselves. Customers can participate by uploading receipts, where one Pokemon meal equals to one point. There will be a total of 1,000 winners, who will each receive a set of four ceramic bowls based on the Poke Ball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball, and Master Ball.
