We have some interesting news about the development of Yoshi’s Crafted World, a brand new Yoshi game coming to Switch this March.

@NWPlayer123, a dataminer that specializes in eShop listings, discovered that the full and complete Yoshi’s Crafted World was uploaded to Nintendo eShop servers on December 20, 2018. This means the game was already completed by then.

Usually, Nintendo uploads games to servers weeks or even months before launch, as they have to prepare for things such as pre-loading and other announcements. Although the game is on the server and is up for pre-load, it’s impossible to download and play immediately as they are encrypted and could only be unlocked with a decryption key at launch.
