Nintendo: 3DS On Track To Surpass Last Year’s Sales, Switch Stock Currently Good
Forbes recently spoke to Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime on how the Switch and 3DS are selling in North America.
First, Reggie mentioned this year’s Nintendo 3DS sales are about to surpass last year’s 3DS sales. The console is currently 6 years old. He says the 3DS appeals to younger consumers and families who can’t afford to drop USD299 on a Switch yet.
As for Switch stock, Reggie advises customers to purchase one before December 23 because that’s when the Christmas rush comes in. He also says it’s much easier to find a Switch in the US now, but consumers “need to know where to look for it” online and at brick-and-mortar.
