For some time, fans have been clamoring for third-party characters like the Doom Slayer (from DOOM) to make it into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. While we’re still sometime away from the official of more DLC characters for the game, however – a possible new leak is now generating some buzz among such fans!

A new video has sprouted up from the bowels of 4Chan, depicting what appears to be two Mii Fighter characters wearing hats that resemble the Cacodemon (DOOM) and Mallow (Super Mario RPG). Check it out below, along with a cleaner screenshot:

Of course, numerous fans are now talking about this video and image. Many were understandably doubtful about what they were seeing on screen – although some did jump at the exciting possibility of DOOM-related DLC.

Would I love Doom Slayer AND Geno in Smash? Absolutely, but at the end of the day all we've seen are (possibly) two Mii outfits and nothing else. Who knows what's coming up.

Personally, if it is real, I think it’d just be more random unrelated outfits like we got with Banjo and Kazooie.

Although I think it’d be interesting to see how they’d incorporate the Doom Slayer into Smash.
