If you have a copy of both Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you could apparently receive a special bonus when starting Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition for the first time.

The bonus is 100,000G, which you are only allowed to claim before starting the game. Here’s a screenshot of the dialog that appears for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 players:
