It looks like Skullgirls 2nd Encore will be expanding its roster of battlers in the future!

Publisher Autumn Games and developer Hidden Variable have announced that the fighting game will be getting a new series of paid DLC characters, which includes the upcoming Annie of the Stars character. These new characters will also be available as a “Season 1 Pass” bundle.

In total, the Season 1 Pass will (minimally) include:

• DLC: Annie
• DLC: TBA Character 2
• DLC: TBA Character 3
• DLC: TBA Character 4
• Season Pass Exclusive Palette Pack
• DLC: Skullgirls OST (including the new Annie Track)
• DLC: Skullgirls Digital Art Compendium (Fully Updated!)

NOTE: Each DLC Character will include the Character, new Stage/Music, Palettes, and a full Story Mode.

For now, this Season Pass will only be launching for the Steam and PS4 versions of the game in May 2021. It will launch for the Switch version of the game at a later date.
