Netherrealm has announced a brand new Mortal Kombat game for Switch and other platforms.

The game is titled Mortal Kombat 1, and appears to be a reboot of the franchise. It is planned to release on September 19th 2023, with pre-orders due to open on May 19th. Pre-ordering the game will net players Shang Tsung as a bonus playable character.
