Publisher Leoful and developer Dream Builder Studios have announced Stellar Wanderer DX – a new edition of the space simulation game heading to Nintendo Switch and other major platforms worldwide in 2024. This new release of Stellar Wanderer will include “many improvements to its space systems, visuals, and gameplay to provide a new deluxe experience” for players.

June 19, 2023 – Indie game publisher Leoful and Romanian indie developer Dream Builder Studios are pleased to announce old-school space simulation, Stellar Wanderer DX, launches 2024 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One worldwide. The game’s first trailer has been published to celebrate its official announcement, and starting today a free demo is playable on Steam as part of Steam Next Fest from June 19 to June 26, 2023.

Stellar Wanderer DX is an old-school space combat simulation set in a vast open-world universe, inspired by games such as Freelancer. Choose between four different classes – Fighter, Trader, Tank or Engineer, each with its own special ability and bonuses. Fight enemy factions, mine and trade resources, customize your ship, and more. Players can choose to follow the story, or explore the galaxy and complete side missions at their own pace.

The game features many improvements to its space systems, visuals, and gameplay to provide a new deluxe experience. Space systems have been expanded with new points of interest, ships, environments, and effects have been reworked with higher levels of detail, and improvements have been made to various gameplay mechanics, controls, and settings.
