Mojang and Netflix have announced they are teaming up for a Minecraft animated series.

The announcement was made as part of the game’s ongoing 15th anniversary celebrations. At the time of this writing, more specific details about the series have yet to be shared, although it will reportedly feature “an original story with new characters that shows the Minecraft world in a new light”.
