Square Enix has released a surprise update for their HD-2D RPG Octopath Traveler II.

The update brings the game up to Version 1.1.0., and adds a new Extra Battles mode accessible after finishing the game’s story. This mode not only allows players to rematch the game’s bosses, but also includes fights with the party members from the first Octopath Traveler. There were also some minor edits to the text and graphics.
