Earlier this week, Game Freak was hit by a massive data breach revealing information about several upcoming Pokemon projects.

Among the leaks were detailed plans for future live-action adaptations of Pokemon. According to the leaked files, a trilogy of Live-Action films were planned: Detective Pikachu, a Detective Pikachu Sequel, and a third film simply titled “Game Boy”.

Detective Pikachu sequel is titled “The Great Detective Pikachu”

• Originally planned to release in 2024, current status unknown
• Leak reportedly included the full plot of the film

Game Boy

• Movie would highlight the themes of “Pokémon’s boundless potential” and the bonds between friends and Pokemon.
• Leak mostly talks about the concept behind the film and its focus on “bonds”. No further details as of this writing.
