The Pokemon Company has announced the re-opening for Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo and its attached Pikachu Sweets outlet.

Both locations were closed back in March 2026 following a tragic incident that occurred at the store. The reopening will happen sometime in September 2026. In the interim period, the Pokemon Company will conduct a partial renovation of the store, and put into place initiatives to bolster the safety of employees and customers.
