The Pokemon Company has announced the release of a Pokemon Legends Z-A + Mega Dimension Switch 2 Edition physical release in Japan.

This release is stated to include the Switch 2 Edition of Pokemon Legends Z-A, as well as the Mega Dimension DLC on a Switch 2 game cart. This cart can be played both on a Switch 2 and a Switch 1, although playing it on the latter will not grant players access to the enhanced features of the Switch 2 edition.

Pre-orders for the game are open on the Japanese Pokemon Center website here, with a release date of October 29th 2026. Presumably, this release will eventually make its way outside of Japan similar to other Pokemon + DLC package releases that launched in the past.
