Nintendo has temporarily ceased production for the Neon Green/Pink Joy-Con Nintendo Switch Splatoon 2 Set in Japan.

No reason was given for the halt in production. We speculate it could have been a trade-off to increase production for the upcoming Nintendo Switch Super Mario Odyssey Set launching on October 27.

While there was no timeframe mentioned as to when the Splatoon 2 Set will be replenished, production should resume in 2018, given that production has only stopped for the rest of 2017.
