The Pokemon Company has revealed the first details for the Year of Legendary Pokemon distribution featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia.

In North America, Ho-Oh and Lugia will be distributed as serial codes at all GameStop locations starting November 2, 2018. No purchase is necessary.

Redeem the serial code in Pokemon Sun/Ultra Sun to receive Lugia, and redeem the code in Pokemon Moon/Ultra Moon to receive Ho-Oh. The Legendary Pokemon redeemed in Sun/Moon is Level 60, but if you redeem it in Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon it becomes Level 100.
