Following Pochacco’s Splatoon 2 artwork, Nintendo and Sanrio have armed Bad Badtz Maru with Splatoon 2 weapons and clothing.

Although Bad Badtz Maru isn’t featured in the Sanrio Splatfest, he has come out to “show his support”. Perhaps he’ll get his chance if a second Sanrio Splatfest ever happens.
