Bandai Namco US Claims Digimon Survive Will Still Launch In 2020
Earlier this week, we reported that Digimon Survive had been delayed from its original 2020 release date to “TBD” due to a complete overhaul of its development. This news was originally shared in the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu.
Shortly after this report, gaming news outlet Gematsu reached out to Bandai Namco US for comment on the delay. According to the following post on Twitter, Bandai Namco US’ representative informed them that Digimon Survive was actually still on track to release in 2020, and the “TBD” reported by Famitsu was a typo.

At the time of this writing, it is unclear whether there was indeed a typo on Famitsu’s side, or whether Bandai Namco US’ representative still had incomplete information about the delay. Whatever the case, we will be sure to report back when more details surface about Digimon Survive’s release date.
