Bic Camera’s Second Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Order Lottery Gets Almost 1,000 Winners Per Store

Bic Camera, one of the largest electronic chains in Japan, has announced the results of the second Nintendo Switch 2 pre-order lottery.

The average number of customers that successfully secured a chance to purchase the system per Bic Camera location was 970. The store with the lowest allocation had 700, and the highest had 1,200.

  • Sapporo: 700
  • Akihabara: 750
  • Ikebukuro: 1,200
  • Shinjuku West Exit: 1,000
  • Kagoshima Central Station: 1,200

It’s estimated that the success rate in this lottery was about 25% to 33%, based on the lottery tickets handed out to customers for tracking purposes. It’s also worth noting that Bic Camera relaxed its requirements to enter the second lottery – it only required an account on their app and a transaction history of 5,000 yen in the last 2 years.
