Rising Star Games’ cult classic survival-horror game Deadly Premonition: Origins will also be launching in physical form in November in North America!

Deadly Premonition: Origins has been revealed during today’s Nintendo Direct. The game is out now digitally via the Nintendo eShop, but physical collectors will be overjoyed to know that a retail version for the game is coming in two-month’s time. Publisher Aksys Games will be handling the game’s distribution in North America. In addition, a Collector’s Edition will also available in November 2019.

The standard physical edition can now be preordered via Aksys Online Store for USD 39.99.

Meanwhile, Numskull Games will be publishing the game in retail for Europe and Australia. A Collector’s Edition has also been confirmed coming in the said regions.

Aside from Deadly Premonition: Origins, its sequel – Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing in Disguise has also been announced.

Announced during today’s Nintendo Direct presentation alongside a long-awaited sequel, Deadly Premonition Origins lets long-time fans and newcomers alike play the original cult classic survival-horror game ‘Deadly Premonition’ — released on the Xbox 360 in 2010 — on the Nintendo Switch for the first time.

Directed by video game industry legend SWERY65 (‘D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die’, ‘The Good Life’), Deadly Premonition has the player guide FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan as he investigates the identity of the Raincoat Killer. Interact with a roster of eccentric, memorable characters, fight off peculiar paranormal forces, and stare into cups of coffee to solve the case in this legendarily off-the-wall title.

Regularly regarded as an example of ‘games as art’, Deadly Premonition holds the Guinness World Record for the most critically polarizing survival-horror game, cementing its status as a cult classic for the genre.

Aksys Games will be releasing a must-have Collector’s Edition at retail this November, with more information and details to come in the near future. Deadly Premonition Origins has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB.
