Interesting news for Donkey Kong fans – it seems that Donkey Kong Bananza could have support for online play.

An analysis of the game’s product listing on Nintendo’s official website reveals that the game supports both Save Data Cloud Backup and online play, even though online play hasn’t been officially confirmed by Nintendo.

As to what an online mode in Donkey Kong Bananza will entail, it is currently unclear at the moment, so we will have to wait for more information from Nintendo. But if we had to guess, it could be something similar to what we saw in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.
