Don’t Do This On Your Nintendo Switch 2 Otherwise It’ll Get Stuck In A Loop
Owners of Nintendo Switch 2 consoles in mainland China have reported a strange bug that puts their console in a repeating loop.
Here’s what happens – if you open the network settings page to search for wireless routers, the system will get caught in a loop. There’s no way to get out of it other than turning off the system manually by holding the power button.
The reason why this is happening in China is because the Switch 2 has an issue with displaying routers with unusual names that have certain special characters. It’s currently unclear what these special characters are, and whether or not there are characters from other languages that also trigger this problem.
Due to this issue, many Chinese owners of Nintendo Switch 2 are driving to empty parks or places with no Wi-Fi routers to complete the system transfer or firmware update process.
