Don’t Starve Together Launches April 12th 2022 For Switch
Klei Entertainment has announced the release date for Don’t Starve Together on Switch.
The multiplayer follow-up to Don’t Starve will be launching on April 12th for Switch. The publishers also announced a “shared unlock” feature, which will allow players to share their unlocked cosmetics, drops and characters between different platforms. That said, there are a few things such as premium currency that will not be shared, and full-on cross-play is reportedly not possible at this time.

“We’ll have more details as this is released, but when players get drops, these drops are granted to your Klei Account and that’s what you have in-game. Soon, you will be able to merge multiple platform accounts onto a single Klei Account and seamlessly use your items on everything connected. This includes crockpot recipes, plant registry, item skins and characters that you gained through drops including woven characters and skins. Bolts (Premium Currency) cannot be shared between platforms.”
