Square Enix has announced a free demo for Dragon Quest VII Reimagined.

The free demo will be available for both Switch and Switch 2 from January 7th 2026, with progress carrying over to the full game when it launches on February 5th. The game’s opening movie has also been shared, which you can watch below:
