Today we got some interesting news about Toylogic, the studio that worked on the 3DS version of Dragon Quest XI.

Toylogic has put out a job listing for a programmer that’s well versed in C++. The programmer has to work on a new unannounced project that has a focus on P2P and co-op modes. Said unannounced project will launch on “PC, PS4, and other home consoles”, so we can assume Nintendo Switch is one of those consoles.
