Yesterday, after the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Direct ended, Tom Nook took over every single official Animal Crossing Twitter account, replacing long-time favorite Isabelle as its spokesperson.

Unlike Isabelle, Tom Nook is a character that many Animal Crossing fans dislike, because he saddles everyone with hundreds of thousands of bells in debt. So it wasn’t surprising to see how fans reacted to him taking over the Twitter account:
