Nintendo has released some new character profiles and footage for Fire Emblem Engage.

This latest batch of profiles introduce us to Zelkov, a royal soldier of Elusia, and Merrin, a royal soldier from Elusia. This is accompanied by short clips showing off their personalities and skills in battle.

Zelkov is a royal soldier of Elusia and Ivy's retainer. He is quiet and meticulous. Everything he says sounds like it has hidden meanings.

Zelkov's starting class is Thief. Their movements are swift, and adept at using daggers, and also good at lockpicking.

Zelkov: "Yeah."

Alear: "Zelkov, what are you doing?"

Zelkov: "Oh, Lady Divine. Right now, I'm melting some wax to make 'candles'."

Alear: "Wow, that's amazing! Is making candles your hobby?"

Zelkov: "My 'hobby'… That's a nice way to put it, but it's just a way to 'pass time'."

Merrin is a royal soldier of Solm. She is a knight that is elegant and pursues stylishness.

Merrin's starting class is Wolf Knight. Knights that ride swift wolves through the battlefield. Using daggers, they bring chaos to enemy lines.

Merrin: "With pride in my heart.

A conversation between Merrin and her liege, Timerra. She calls Timerra her princess, and has sworn loyalty to her.

Timerra: "What's wrong, Merrin? You're just standing there."

Merrin: "Oh, my princess, excuse me. I was just doing some thinking."

Timerra: "Thinking?"
