First Look At The Monster Hunter Stories 3 Theme Cafe In Singapore

Capcom SEA has once again teamed up with Japan Rail Cafe to bring us a Monster Hunter themed collaboration, this time coinciding with the launch of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflections. This marks the second consecutive year the two have joined forces to treat fans to an immersive Monster Hunter café experience.

The collaboration runs from 16 March to 26 April 2026, offering themed dining experiences, collectible rewards, hands-on demo gameplay, and Instagram-worthy setups — a one-stop experience for Monster Hunter fans and those simply curious about the latest entry in the Monster Hunter Stories series.

Thanks to Capcom SEA, Nintendosoup was invited for an early look at the menu, decorations, and exclusive merchandise this Monster Hunter themed cafe collaboration has to offer.

Our First Impressions

We were blown away by the décor upon being seated in the dining area. The space was decked out with standees of beloved characters from the game, giving Riders plenty of photo opportunities, while promotional posters and themed decorations adorned the walls and tables. As a Monster Hunter fan, this is exactly what we want from a Monster Hunter themed café experience.

The Food and Beverages

The collaboration brings riders 3 main dishes and 3 beverages to choose from. We tried The Twin Rathalos Salmon Don and Ranger’s Yakitori Fire Bowl along with Potion and Zest Pill.

Twin Rathalos Salmon Don (S$19++)

Smoked salmon and salmon belly layered on Japanese rice, topped with Ikura, savoury onion sauce and garnish. The dish really does look like the twin skyscale rathalos duelling one another. The taste is very appetising, it reminds us of the sea with the ikura bursting its salty juices over the smoky flavours of the smoked salmon and tender flesh of the salmon belly.

Potion (Melon & Mint Float) (S$7++)

Accompanying the Salmon bowl was the Potion. Its Melon flavour was delightful with mint bursting through! Great in the relentless Singapore Heat, feels like we have healed back to full HP.

Ranger’s Yakitori Fire Bowl (S$17++)

Grilled Yakitori well glazed with savoury tare sauce peppered with a bit of Japanese Spice powder over Japanese rice paired with some grilled chikuwa (fish cake) and Nasu Miso Eggplant. The skewed chicken meat quells my hunger and replenishes my stamina like a well done steak would in the Monster Hunter series! The eggplant was done just right to provide a nice pairing with the chicken to make a wholesome filling meal.

Zest Pill (Watermelon & Grenadine Float) (S$7++)

This beverage has Watermelon in the forefront with slight hints of Grenadine. Bright flavours that give us that boost of attack to finish your enemies with our kinship attack!

Unfortunately, we were unable to try the Pork and Salad Harvest Bowl ($18++) and Antidote (Zesty Orange and Vanilla Float) (S$7++) shown below

Each main dish includes a random coaster with 5 designs to collect, and each beverage comes with a random sticker sheet from 4 different sets.

On site Demo Experience

Customers on the fence about picking up the game can also give the demo a try, with two stations available: PS5 version and Nintendo Switch 2 version. Without giving too much away, the demo is a definite must-try that left us wanting more. Keep an eye out for our full game review coming soon!

Before leaving…

Just before we left, there was a board for fellow Riders to leave a note behind for others to read! We left our note there. Try and guess which one is ours!

Overall, we had a fantastic time at Japan Rail Cafe’s Monster Hunter Stories collaboration. The décor was immersive, the food was delicious and filling, and the merch was worth coming back for. The demo stations were fun and exciting. We would highly recommend this to not just Monster Hunter fans, but everyone looking for a great meal paired with a memorable experience. Seize the opportunity and make your way down to this limited-time collaboration!

Once again, a huge thank you to Capcom SEA for making this happen!

Huge thanks to Melvin for helping us cover this!
