Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the upcoming remakes of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, have reportedly begun leaking online.

The leaks first appeared on the Pokeleaks subreddit in a series of now deleted posts, which showed off screenshots and video footage from early parts of the game. Other posters in the subreddit have also been posting pictures of the game’s box and cartridge, suggesting that the game’s street date may have been broken.

Given that The Pokemon Company has been taking serious action against leakers, it would not be surprising if further leaks that appear on social media get pulled or struck down. At the time of this writing, these leaks have yet to reveal any new information players did not already know about the remakes from promotional material.

Nevertheless, players who do not wish to encounter potential spoilers for the games may want to be a bit more careful on social media in the coming weeks. We will be sure to report back with more updates on the situation as they come.
