In the last few months, retailers in Japan have been organizing lotteries to decide who gets to buy a Nintendo Switch, as demand has been extremely high due to the coronavirus outbreak.

Sayaka Yamamoto, former member of AKB48 and NMB48, was surprised to find out that she won one of these lotteries, which are extremely hard to win. She didn’t expect to win the lottery at all. The Nintendo Switch which she won, along with a copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, are going to be gifted to her mother on Mother’s Day. It’s safe to assume they are going to be playing Animal Crossing together!
