Contra fans may not need to wait long for more of the classic franchise to return to consoles.

The German retailer NetGames has apparently leaked an upcoming Contra game for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. There’s nothing else on the listings apart from a release date of 24 September 2019, and a price tag of €34.95.

Could this be a console release of the previously announced Contra Anniversary Collection? It’s hard to tell, as Konami has yet to bring its Castlevania Anniversary Collection physically to Nintendo Switch either. We’ll report back if we hear more.
