Days after the launch of Mario Kart World, Japanese players have come out with a tier list ranking the most powerful characters in Mario Kart World.

There are eight powerful characters in Tier S (the best tier). They are Wario, Waluigi, Donkey Kong, Wiggler, Chargin’ Chuck, Pianta, Cow, and Bowser. As you may have noticed, most if not all of these characters are heavy-weight characters, this means that they have a high top speed in the game. It’s also worth noting that Waluigi was a powerful character frequently used in online races in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The next tier, Tier A, comprises of seven characters – Rosalina, King Boo, Piranha Plant, Monty Mole, Cataquack, Conkdor, and Snowman. Again, most of these characters are heavy weight.

You can probably expect many players to use these characters in online races, especially those from tier S.
