Nintendo has tweaked the way players respawn after they get hit by an item while gliding in the air in Mario Kart World.

In Mario Kart World, the screen will black out and the player will respawn mid-air from where they left off.

This is a huge change from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as the player respawn either before or after the gliding path.
