Team Cherry has announced they are working on a Switch 2 Edition for Hollow Knight.

The Switch 2 Edition of Hollow Knight will include all the enhancements that Silksong has on the platform, including higher framerate and resolution, as well as added graphical effects.

It is planned to release in 2026, and will be available as a free upgrade for owners of the Switch 1 version.
