Joy-Con Drift Class Action Lawsuit Filed In Quebec, Canada
Nintendo is facing another class action lawsuit related to Joy-Con drift, this time in Quebec, Canada.
This new lawsuit was submitted by the firm Lambert Avocat Inc., and encompasses the Switch, Joy-cons, Pro controller, and Switch lite. The lawsuit asserts that Joy-Con drift is a “hidden defect” that violates the terms of Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act, and seeks restitution for those affected.
While waiting for a judge to authorize the proceedings, the firm is now collecting more information about the issue from affected customers through a short questionnaire. Updates about the suit will also be posted to their Facebook page.
